Setting up a HODAG Licking Stick inside the woods on a logging road. We often get the question: "Can you use this inside the woods?" The answer is yes, we like to put them on logging roads, trail crossings, or other areas that deer are moving through already, but this puts them on one specific spot.
This is a spot that over the years we have had a ton of success with our HODAG Licking Stick setups, and continue to get the same deer scent marking it year after year. This allows us to effectively Inventory, Pattern, and Hunt mature whitetails.
