Nurgle is invading the Grand Barony of Hochland, and it is up to The Wise Coffin and I to decide the fate of the Empire! We are performing a series of 1v1 matches with a narrative and supporting rules to give us a little more investment.
--The (gist of the) Rules--
- If a general is killed in a fight, he may no longer be used in battles
- The last player with living generals wins
- If a general flees a battle, he may fight again, but a general may not flee after having fled 2 battles
- Free Units do NOT apply towards army size requirements
-After every fight, a Crown reward is generated from an RNG of 1,000-3,000 (eventually 1,500-4,000). The winner receives the whole value added to his pool, the loser gets 50%(eventually 66%) of it added to his.
- After every fight, a new unit may be unlocked. The winner must choose first
- A unit with 3 chevrons may upgrade its weapons/armor to that color
- Experience carries over between units in the same army
--Hochland Rules:
- Klaus of Esk: Huntsman’s traditions - For every 2 ranged units (any) in an army, add one level of weapons or armor to a ranged (infantry) unit in the army.
- Siegfried Reikstadt: Always come prepared - For every 6 units in your opponent's army, you may take one free Empire Mortar
- Nikolaus Norden: Snipers and Saboteurs - For every 8 units in the Hochland army, 1 enemy unit may be delayed from the fight; delayed units are put into their own, separate army
--Nurgle Rules
- Scabsate Loonbite: Nurgle’s Many Children - For every 4 units in a nurgle army, a free unit of nurglings may be taken
- Pileglop Coldvex: Children Worship, Father Listens - For every 3 non-free units in an army, the nurgle player may upgrade ONE level of armor OR weapons on a demon unit
- Bowelthrust Maulflesh: The Gift of Pox and Decay - Requires: 10+ Units; Upon defeating an enemy army, that player must then remove one unit from that army the next time it fights (to represent the disease that carried over after the battle).
Can NOT be taken from free units
