For those who might want to know, I already made a tutorial for how to weave this kind of tab-maille, and it is up on my channel. This whole suit took a few months to make, and consumed well over 10,000 tabs, and several hundred feet of yarn. As for the sander, I am basically just overpowering it so that it will remove material faster and be less likely to stall out when I apply a lot of pressure.
