I wanted a Lionel Polar Express in HO gauge but unfortunately it was too expensive at around £400 -$500 so I made my own. I bought some second or third hand locomotive and passenger coaches that the train from the movie is based on. It only cost me around £180 or so to mock up my own Polar Express. I feel happy with the result and find it just as good if not slightly better than the Lionel Polar Express
