if you touch the final door in lakitu cam c-down, doing the longjump movement can save you a few lag frames over the jumpdive movement.
if you touch the final door in mariocam c-down, however, the jumpdive movement is very unlikely to get lag, nor is the longjump movement.

due to the fact that this stages actual level boundaries are waaay far outside of the geometry itself, a negative jump to the star isnt possible here. this was the next best strat i could come up with. improvable obviously.")

the double firsty strat from the eyeball room to the bookcase room seems to save around ~0.5s, but it might be a bit too difficult to to in attempts imo. im pretty sure you need to have a frame-perfect landing on the railing to get the clip like i do in this tas (11/1/21: taki came up with this movement for that section that seems to be faster and easier: https://youtu.be/tm41pzeoO84). also, after finishing the tas, i learned that this movement is faster for the eyeball room in ideal: https://youtu.be/zLGWUumfXeg?t=2858. other than that, i think this is a pretty reasonable ideal run.
