Hitler chose the area of East Prussia well for his Wolfs lair headquarters, for nearly a Century is have been the location for Great military battles, and experimental, only built here defenses and bunkers.
Here from before WW1 the Prussians created great fortified areas with completely new test bunkers. These I will call the link between the modern bunker and the fortress, this we will visit as well as the fighting positions here from WW1.
And before the Second World War even began, both Polish and Germans were constructing fortified lines facing each other. Here we visit one of the first prototype regelbauten, brought back to life by a family effort, they will take us through their fortified area and its defenses here.
And we will have to debunk a few myths of WW2 also, so join me for an amazing journey through the fortified area of East Prussia, I promise you to show you something you have not before seen.
