The Ninja's original arcade incarnation beat Capcom's Commando to market by a month, and featured art by "Phoenix Rie". The Master System version gender-swapped the protagonist from a badass ninja princess to some Japanese bloke. But it's still a top-notch game for Sega's underappreciated 8-bit console.
