Maccy and Ms. Fox discuss MECC's impact on computers in education through the 60's 70's 80's and 90's.

MECC, the developers behind Number Munchers and Oregon Trail, played a pivotal role in selecting the Apple II to be the elementary school computer for many American kids.

We go over the history and impact of The Minnesota Educational Computing Consortium from the era of massive mainframes, to the proliferation of the Apple II computer.

This is part two in a multipart episode discussing how Apple Computer became THE educational computer of the 80s and 90s (at least in America).
