Hello guys,
Sebastian Vettel once said, “If you ask a child to draw a car, they’ll paint it red.” Ferrari has been a symbol of Formula 1 since the very first Grand Prix, and just like that, it’s been a staple in F1 video games from the very beginning.
Today, I’m taking you through Ferrari’s most dominant era in F1 games—starting with the first F1 title on the PS1 and continuing all the way to the PS3 era. One of my earliest memories of Formula 1 is, of course, the iconic scarlet-red Ferrari and Michael Schumacher at the wheel.
So here’s the big question: which game captured the magic of those glorious Ferrari engines best—the screaming V12s, the legendary V10s, or the powerful V8s? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
