Historicon is the largest historical miniature wargaming show in the USA and the 2025 convention took place July 17-20 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The Little Wars TV gang was there running games, playing in games, and filming games! With a record 700+ participation wargames, it was impossible for us to see them all. But that is the awesome glory of Historicon--it's so big that you simply have to go back the next year!
In this recap video we share a few highlights of the show and spotlight some award winning game masters. We've saved the Best of Show and Best Terrain winners for a dedicated follow up video that will be on our channel shortly! If you were at the show this weekend, you can probably guess which two mega-games took home those top awards!
We want to thank everyone who played in our game sessions, all the new and old friends who came up to say hi, and everyone who kindly agreed to be interviewed on camera. Sadly, not all of our interviews make it through the editing bay, but we are grateful to everyone--GMs, attendees, vendors, and HMGS staff--who participate and help us assemble the best recap a bunch of gaming geeks can muster.
