In this one, I make a historical witches outfit using the one hour dressmaking system and wet felt a witches hat.

The sewing part of the one hour dress is really easy and straight forward, the tricky bit for us modern sewists is to get our head around the system. The way the pieces are laid on the fabric Takes advantage of the selvage edge to further cut down sewing time. This still is a fast and easy make but for the first time using the system, I'd definitely give myself a full day of time for figuring everything out. After making several I'm sure you could manage one if not very heavily embellished in an hour.
I'm quite ridiculously happy with how my wet felted witch hat turned out. I have wet felted before but that was like back in elementary school so not exactly what I'd call recently. I try my best to show you my process but this is by no means a tutorial. For a more in depth look into this process by someone who actually knows what they are doing I'd recommend this video:
