Step back in time with us on a historic Philadelphia walking tour led by a former Philly tour guide!
In this vlog, we show you how easy it is to explore the birthplace of America—even if it’s your first visit.
Our journey starts just outside the city with a quick stop for bagels in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, before hopping on the PATCO train for a stress-free ride straight into historic Philadelphia. We exit at 8th & Market, putting us right in the heart of Old City.
From there, we walk through some of the most important sites in U.S. history, including:
🔔 The Liberty Bell
🏛️ Independence Hall
🏛️ Congress Hall
📚 The First Library of the United States (founded by Ben Franklin)
💰 The Second Bank of the United States
✍️ Carpenters’ Hall, where the First Continental Congress met in secret
⚡ Ben Franklin’s homesite, privy, print shop & post office
⚰️ Franklin’s Grave
🏘️ Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America
🚒 America’s first firehouse
🏭 The U.S. Mint
ℹ️ The Visitor Center, one of many FREE historic attractions we show you along the way!
Victoria's Bagel Bistro (Our favorite bagels in the world!):
