You can't make this up. On June 29th outside Bronx Criminal Courthouse — the most surveilled building in the city — 20-year-old Chase Lockhart allegedly opened fire on a crowd. His getaway driver? His own mother, 49-year-old Jennifer Lockhart — Deputy Commissioner of Wellness for the Mount Vernon Police Department.
Both hit with attempted murder, 3 counts attempted assault, and 6 counts weapons possession. She pleaded not guilty, was walked out of a Bronx precinct in handcuffs, and was immediately terminated from her $150K+ position.
