What does it mean to share in the life of Jesus?

In Episode 61 of Contemplata, “The Life of Jesus,” Fr. James Brent, O.P., reflects on the extraordinary reality that Christ came not only to save us, but to share his own life with us.

Through Baptism, we are plunged into Christ’s death and resurrection and begin to share in his risen life. As this life grows within us, we are called to die to sin and selfishness and become more fully alive in Christ.

The life of Jesus is not something we simply admire. It is a life he desires to share with us.
