Here's the latest update from Thyra & Uhtred's new parents:
"First of all, the kittens are doing really well. Lots and lots of playing, rampaging, eating and purring. They greet us with incredibly loud purring (thanks Hilde for teaching them this surefire trick for taming humans!). We are close to settling on some new names for them – Freya for little Thyra and Skanderbeg for Uhtred. Freyja is a fertility goddess, the sister of the fertility god Freyr and daughter of the sea god Njörðr. Skanderbeg was an Albanian leader who defended Albania against the Turks in the mid-fifteenth century."
