So happy to finally get this time! This was the last IL in the v1.1.5 all bosses route that I didn't have or was tied for the best time on, so now I have finally joined SBDWolf and Jason2890 in the 1:02 club :D
Cool new optimization here makes me think 1:01 is definitely possible. This is actually some tech I saw Kaleva do a long time ago but essentially I wait a half second to start shooting her which manipulates the planes to spawn 1 extra one that gives you a parry. An extra EX that hits 4-5 times is much more damage than 0.5 seconds of shooting so this should definitely be faster, and in this video I noticed if I got a pink star sooner on last phase it would have been a 1:01 for sure but I am very happy with this time for now!

I am very happy with this run! Managed to get it even with spider on the Devil (loses about 8 seconds of time) which was really awesome but that motivates me even more to try and get the sub 29 which is my main goal for this category.
This run was done live on my channel but I was experiencing some lag so I decided to upload it here for better viewing although the video quality is not the best.
If you notice my controller not showing inputs during plane levels that is because I opt to use keyboard for them and you can audibly hear some of my key presses from it too. I do this because it personally improves my consistency with a frame perfect trick called luigi swaps which involves pressing EX and Weapon Swap on the exact same frame while holding shoot which always you to continue to shoot normal bullets while your EX comes out which is normally not the case.

A really solid run and my first sub 14!
This was done during SBDWolfs live competition which was a 4-way race so I had my overlay adjusted for that.
I was also having major internet issues during the race so I had the quality down to 360p lol. Regardless though, I do hope you enjoy the run :D

This time really caught me off-guard because while it was good I was expecting more like a 54/55 but looking back now it really was a pretty nuts fight so I could see this time standing for a long time potentially at least with this loadout which for now is the only loadout this last phase skip has been done on.
