A quick tour of the trails at Huntsville State Park in Huntsville,TX. There is approximately 18 miles of trails within the park and we hike the Triple C, Chinquapin and Dogwood trails and hike along the border of the Sam Houston National Forest. This park is a large, multi use park including excellent RV hookups, a large lake for kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing. Mountain biking, trail running and hiking are also popular. 2 1/2 hrs. south of Dallas and 90 minutes north of Houston. It's entrance is also only a few hundred yards from a trailhead for the Lone Star Hiking Trail.
