Hiking "The Ramp" off of 22nd street in Ogden. It can be a strenuous hike as you gain 900 feet in elevation pretty quickly, however, it is a short hike so it's not too committing. Round-trip can be between an hour to three hours.
This was my 3rd time up on the Ramp, but wanted to take Clark (our border collie) and my wife Sarah on this unique adventure.
This hike is definitely not for everyone, and certainly not for most dogs. At the top there is a lot of exposure and could likely end in you falling off the cliffs. You can climb the ramp until you hit the cliffs and turn back around and most people with comfortable with some exposure to cliff hiking will be okay. Of course, always turn back if it's above your comfort level.
