This is Day 1 of my recent trek down the pre-columbian Incan Trail in Bolivia. It starts 4700 meters (15000 feet) and drops down to 1335 m (4400 feet) over 40 miles (57 km). It's an amazing experience and the changes in climate are incredible.

This is Day 1 where we start at the summit of 4700 m, head to a high point of 4885 m before making the descent to 2825 m.
