This is our hike back to the ski lift/Top Of The Notch Restaurant, from the last clearing before the final ascent to the top. We didn't make the last approximately 150 feet to the peak, which is very steep. You can see the peak at the beginning of the video.
The trail starts behind the restaurant, and is 3.2 miles one way. There is an elevation gain of 2,200 feet. You have the option of hiking from the bottom at Manker Flats, or the parking area for the ski lifts, or you can just take the ski lift.
If you are afraid of heights, you will struggle tremendously with this trail! I cannot emphasize this enough! Hopefully this video will give you a fair idea to how steep and exposed you really are.
