0. Stop caring what people think
At the beginning You will have doubts to do all these life changing strategies because you think you need to behave a certain way because society says so. You need to change your mindset to not care about the opinion of haters, not care if people will make fun of you for selling. Focus on your money goals, growth, and becoming a boss. You don't become a boss by acting like everyone else. You think I didnt have haters when I was vlogging at school and selling? Of course I had haters,i don't care because I still made epic candy selling videos for you guys. Basically don't be scared to take risks and take action because of the opinions of others.
Sell candy to create a squad
Probably the most important thing about high school is getting yourself a group of friends a soon as possible. I would say at the first day of school talk and met up with people in the morning classes and tell them “hey let's sit together in lunch today” Do that to as many people and in lunch it's going to be crazy with a bunch of people trying to sit and you will have a good time. If you guys have a large group having fun cracking jokes, you guys become the cool table, and make lifelong friends. You can start hanging outside school and even build the squad bigger. NOw Once you start selling you will be meeting all the other squads and getting cool with them, you can ask them, “is it cool if I sit here to sell real quick” and bam you just joined a squad you can sit in lunch with. Take advantage of this and become friends with the cool tables early on to have a power position to sell.
Sell candy to become more social.
Naturally when you sell you will be exposed to talking to a lot of people and people know that you are the plug will make people remember your name. Start off by selling to the freshman class, get known and the word will spread, especially in lunch. Once all the freshman know you, you can start expanding to upperclassmen. Be careful and always try to stay with a squad so you don't get your bag stolen. If you are confident with your products older kids will think its cool that you are the plug and will only mess with you if you seem scared.
3. Sell candy to become popular
If you watch my business card video linked in the corner, I am passing out my snapchat and instagram username like a business card. I did this in lunch and got like 100 new followers that day. Then you can start posting cool pictures and stories and get your clout up. If you do this people will think its funny and unique that you are the plug by passing these cards out and they'll talk about you. Early on you are already becoming the most well known freshman and that's pretty cool.
4. Be Careful selling candy
You are new and you still have to learn the ins and outs of the school and how it works, so you have to be extra careful when selling candy at this stage. Learn how the security moves, how teachers monitor the classrooms, the rules for duffles bags. A lot of people are going to be buying from you and talking about you so if you can avoid getting caught by knowing when to stop selling, you will never get caught. Move very carefully once a lot of people know you sell, because there are snitches, tryna take you down. But if you know when to hide th4e bag, and you say I'm not selling, you are good.
