Hanwha Aerospace, together with Hanwha Systems and Hanwha Ocean, participated in ADEX 2025, Korea’s largest aerospace and defense exhibition, held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Korea from October 20 to 24. ✈️
Under the theme “AI Defense for Tomorrow,” the Hanwha Pavilion showcased a new paradigm of AI-powered defense innovation—seamlessly integrating all land, sea, air, and space forces and leveraging manned–unmanned teaming technologies to enable a fully connected battlefield ecosystem!
At this year’s exhibition, we presented cutting-edge defense solutions, advanced aircraft engines, and unmanned systems―core technologies shaping the future of the defense industry. The display drew strong interest and praise from both Korean and international visitors for its technological excellence and forward-looking vision.
Particularly eye-catching exhibits included an interactive experience zone for “GVA (Generic Vehicle Architecture),” a next-generation weapon system framework; the first-ever public unveiling of the tracked unmanned ground vehicle “TheMIS-K”; and “L-PGW, a sky-piercing loitering precision-guided weapon.” These displays captivated visitors and drew significant attention for their innovation and strategic potential.
During the event, Hanwha signed an MOU with GE Aerospace to jointly for now and later independently develop marine gas turbine engine packages, laying the groundwork for securing core technologies and enhancing competitiveness in naval propulsion.
Through AI-driven weapon systems and strategic partnerships, we continues to play a pivotal role in advancing Korea’s self-reliant defense capabilities and driving our presence on the global defense stage.
