Walking around Azeroth during different classic hypes since 2019, it seems the higher the population is, the more layers, and therefore the greater the chances of experiencing a dead world. Have you noticed this?
I'd vote for layers to become more zone specific, perhaps transferring all players to the same layer upon entering any that isn't packed. What do you think?
Also, if the general chats and local defense chats could connect in each zone perhaps with little icons next to peoples' names specifying their layers, then it would be at least 10% less terrible, because it would then be easier for players to find groups, answers to questions, or at least communicate to congregate on the the layer that is more populated, rather than having two people on different layers looking to group for the same quest in general chat but not finding anyone.
