According to the National Weather Service, a threat of Coastal flooding is present for southern-facing beaches during periods of high tide in the late evenings. Additionally, “a southerly swell combined with increased tides is bringing dangerous rip currents & elevated surf from Pt. Conception southward” (NWS LA X Post).
