This is phase 2 of the Arabian High Speed rail project. It involves 902 kilometres of standard gauge tracks that can accomodate trains to speeds of 450 km/h. This stage extends to cities such as Doha, Al Hofuf and Dammam cities. With speeds like this, you can commute from Dubai to Dammam in less than 3 hours and Dubai to Doha in just over 2 hours.
