Filmed on June 10th, 1989, this is the family party for my High School graduation. It's not great footage, that's for sure, but it does manage to capture one of those lost moments in time. It's difficult for me to wrap my mind around the fact that my mother is younger than I am now when this was filmed. And I treasure the footage of my father and I engaged in some backyard wrestling. I don't have a lot of film of him, so what little I do possess helps me to preserve his memory.
Non-relatives will not find much to enjoy in this boring backyard family party, but this is the sort of stuff that reminds me of another place in time that exists now only in my memory... and thankfully, on this video.
