High School DxD is a Japanese light novel series by Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrated by Miyama-Zero, following perverted high schooler Issei Hyodo, who is resurrected as a devil by Rias Gremory and joins her to fight angels, fallen angels, and other devils while pursuing his dream of becoming a "Harem King". The series began in 2008 and has spawned manga and anime adaptations, with 25 volumes released in Japan and numerous volumes translated into English by Yen On, with the main series continuing in Shin High School DxD.

Asia Argento (アーシア・アルジェント, Āshia Arujento) is one of the many female protagonists of High School DxD. She is a third-year high school student at Kuoh Academy in Class 3-B and is a girl with a very gentle heart who possesses a rare Sacred Gear, Twilight Healing, in her body that is capable of healing the wounds of Humans, Angels, Fallen Angels, and Devils alike.

Asia Argento was formerly one of Rias Gremory's Bishops, but she now serves as Issei Hyoudou's first Bishop and one of his fiancées.
