This video is a cover of the song, High Hopes, by Kodaline.
The past year has been extremely rough, and recently I've had to deal with some very difficult experiences. When I found this song, I did some digging to find out what it was about, and as I kept listening, I realised what Kodaline's High Hopes is all about. I felt like I had a lot in common, and it reminded me of all that has happened the past few months.
The song is beautiful, and as I felt so close to it, I couldn't help but want to sing it. I could never make it as beautiful as Kodaline, but I can sing it from the bottom of my heart, and I did.
Through my entire musical journey, one special person has been supporting me from the start and inspiring me greatly, my dear friend imagimango, also known as Emergency Spork. He also helped me out with this cover. He edited the song, added backing vocals and made it sound amazing. Thank you so much!
