God I love these soundfonts. After a while of playing around with the VSTi Vital in this style, I think I've gotten the hang of it down pat. It might be fun to make a mini album of a few tracks in this style for an imaginary game. Since I already a few up on this channel I wouldn't have to add all that many more tracks.
Do you enjoy listening to music in this style? I feel like oldschool game music is just as popular as ever now in 2024. Even though there are so many powerful virtual instruments out there able to recreate sounds of organic instruments, I believe that the withstanding love for oldschool game music goes to show just how much of a special place it holds in people's hearts. Even for me, despite being able to record my guitar and bass and throw it in here, I enjoyed the sound of their MIDI counterparts more here.
