High Flying Bird from the album Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player from 1973 is one of Elton John's lesser known songs. However, it seems to ba a favorite among fans. The song has rarely been played live - it was played in concert upon the release of the album in 1973 and 1974, and then it was revived at Elton's 60th birthday concert at Madison Square Garden in 2007. The song was abandoned after this show and have not been played on stage since.
This version is inspired by the MSG-version from 2007.
