We put the Hifonics BRUTUS BRL3000.1 on the amp dyno to show exactly what it makes. You'll see two sets of results:

CERTIFIED: Continuous power at 1% THD or less. This is the clean, repeatable number and the one to compare against the RMS rating.
UNCERTIFIED: Pushes the amplifier right up to the audible/visible clipping threshold.
