Playthrough | Part 11: Track 11 – The Needle Drop
Only one head remains and it's Peppermint's brother Kale. Time to finally confront him.
Unfortunately they find her mother Roxanne Vandelay. And she's under a trance due to Kale using SPECTRA. Kale wishes to use SPECTRA to control the masses in order to ensure that they can have everything decided for them. It's wrong on so many levels. As he plans to unleash it upon the world, Chai is having second thoughts. But then CNMN tells him about a harmonic force field and he needs a huge amount of energy to destroy it.
Chai is determined to make his own path so he tries to be in sync. To feel the beat. What follows is a button press to time the beat and as it happens, Chai remembers all the people who he helped to make them better. In doing so, Chai has been able to sync his beat with the field destroying it. Now the chase is on.
We head off to find Kale but he isn't going to go down without a fight. So he sends everything at us. We respond in kind and not even a giant robot can stop us. It's so wild and so cool that it makes the endgame so worthwhile. It really is.
Speaking of which, the endgame is happening in the finale.
