Handling noise has been an issue boom operators have faced for decades. You may know how to reduce or eliminate it using technique but sometimes despite your best efforts, some will slip through. It's in these cases that something like the Hide-A-Mic Re:Pose would be of assistance.
The Re:pose is a simple device designed to reduce the acoustic vibrations transferred through the boom pole and into the microphone capsule.
