Here is a showcase of 2 hidden fireplace entrances in Minecraft.

I came up with this concept to use in my base on the RedCloud server, and I called in zombachu to help me with the redstone. He made 2 designs, one that is easier to hide inside a one block thick wall (the left one) and one that is smaller, but a bit more tricky to hide (the right one).
