1 inch x 12-inch-long stainless-steel body filled with filtered sand. The fittings go down to 1/8" pipe threads. all these parts I ordered from Amazon.com. a fine stainless-steel screen was put in each end to keep the sand in place.
UPDATE: 12/20/22 Do not use a ball valve for the shut off, use a needle valve and keep it very small like this: 1/8 NPT Male x 1/8" NPT Female. Our ball valve failed when the teflon seal moved and caused a fire behind the valve.
