Camcorder Footage: On May 23, 1992, a two-alarm fire caused an estimated $650,000 in damage to H.H. West Company Office Supplies at 505 N. 22nd St. (2202 W. Clybourn St.) in Milwaukee. The fire was reported around 11:00 a.m. and apparently started when a worker using a torch accidentally ignited material inside a wall. No injuries were reported.
The date stamp on the video is incorrect.
