[Kinematic Typography] Ancient Names Bakatouga 2019-05-25 | So I'm finally making this public, since I've grown to like it a bit more than back when I made it. But anyway!This was a project I did for one of my classes back during freshman year of college. The project was just to make a lyric video using kinematic typography with After Effects, but I decided to add in some animation and story for fun! For those of you very few Lamento fans left, it's vaguely based on how Leaks and Shui met in the past of the game - however I chose to use simple designs and a limited color palette so they're not entirely close to my feral designs for them - and some elements are just left up to symbolism or are changed to fit the time frame.

[WIP] Ready As Ill Ever Be - MAP Parts Bakatouga 2018-08-12 | So I've literally had zero time to finish anything all summer and I'm like actually depressed about it please just take this sorry excuse of a WIP it's the best I gotAAA I really am sorry about the lack of content all summer. Here is one of my finals, an animatic I called Flight, in which a kind mother dragon encourages her young to take the first steps out of the nest and into the air!For this project we were meant to come up with a rather simple story and either create comic pages, a storyboard, or an animatic; I chose the latter of these options and decided to create a moving storyboard/animatic. It's my first time actually creating an entire story and video from scratch and I learned a lot even if it wasn't as nice as it looked in my head. Sorry, but with the last month basically being completely dedicated to finals, as well as me taking on way too many commissions, I haven't had time to do much of anything dealing with personal animations or MAP parts ^^'I plan on becoming more active this summer, but for me commissions and my job come first since, you know, college costs money.
