Turning our eyes to the Middle East.
The clash between Israel and Hezbollah continues to escalate, with the latter pledging to continue its fight against Israel in support of Palestine, even with the latest assassinations of its top leaders.
The group announced it would name a new chief soon, to replace its late leader Hassan Nasrallah who was killed last week.
Choi Min-jung reports.

Hezbollah has vowed to continue fighting Israel despite the recent losses it has suffered in Lebanon.
In a televised speech on Monday, Hezbollah’s highest-ranking official, Naim Qassem, also pledged to back the Palestinians.

"The Islamic resistance will continue to confront the Israeli enemy in support of Gaza and Palestine, in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to assassinations and the killing of civilians.”

The announcement comes several days after Israel assassinated Hezbollah's leader Hassan Nasrallah and other senior figures in an airstrike in Beirut last week.
In the group's first public address since the leader's death, Qassem also said Hezbollah will choose a leader to succeed Nasrallah as soon as possible.
He added that the group will continue its targets as laid out by the late leader.
And in response to Israel's claims on potential ground operations, Qassem said Hezbollah is ready if Israel decides to enter through land.

"We will face any possible attack and we are ready. If the Israelis decide to enter by land, the resistance forces are ready for a ground engagement."

Tensions between Israel and Hezbollah have escalated further, with Israeli airstrikes hitting areas within the Lebanese capital Beirut for the first time.
Up until now, Israel focused its strikes on the southern part of the city.
Israel's attack on Lebanon has killed more than a thousand people over the past two weeks, displacing over 1 million people in Lebanon, according to its Prime Minister.
