I'm really looking forward to James Gunn's upcoming Supergirl film, scheduled for release on June 26, 2026. We just got our first official teaser poster featuring Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, and it hints at a much darker, more emotionally complex take on the character. From what we know so far, the story will follow Supergirl on a journey across the galaxy alongside Krypto and Ruthye, exploring themes of trauma and survival. I'm curious to see how this version of Supergirl fits into the broader DC Universe moving forward.
