So, it turns out that squids have torus-shaped brains, meaning their brains are in the same shape as doughnuts and bagels. After finding this out, this scene from _Squidbillies_ where Early Cuyler is eating bagels off of his arms and tentacles feels... off to me because Early is quite literally eating the one thing that looks like his species' brain. I mean, if someone baked a loaf of bread in the shape of a human brain, wouldn't you find it unappetizing? Then again, Early is so dumb, so the last thing I'd expect him to know is what his own brain looks like. That is, if he even has one. Turn on the captions if you want.
