For kids who lost their fathers defending Ukraine, childhood was interrupted by grief no one should carry alone. There’s no fixing that loss. No words that make it disappear.
Hero’s Legacy Camp gives them something real. The place where they’re understood without explaining, where the weight gets a little lighter, and where they can be children again - even if only for a week
What these kids need is knowing they’re not alone as they learn to deal with the reality of life without a parent.
Your donation can give them support, healing, and hope for the future.
Hero’s Legacy Camp is a therapy camp for kids of fallen Ukrainian defenders that takes place in Zakopane, Poland. It’s a space for these kids to release some of the pain they carry after the loss of their dad. It’s a community that understands their grief without them having to say a word. It’s a place where war feels far away, even if only for a week. It’s a place to have a childhood again.
Since 2023, 143 children have attended, completing over 4,460 hours of therapy. They’ve learned tools to cope with their new reality
How You Can Help?
The spirit of the holidays isn't found in the boxes we unwrap, but in the care we show to those around us.
We can’t bring their dad’s back. But we can show these kids that human goodness still exists. We can make sure they don’t have to walk through the most difficult time of their lives alone. Donate today re.11bits.com/hero
