Although you can free Kraka in the same manner as a Rogue as you can the Mage and Warrior, most players like to go for the more challenging manner and get the secondary reward as well. As per request, here is how it's done.
Note, you could always bribe Snorri into letting Kraka out but that's pretty expensive.
