In 1988, Lloydel Pictures completed filming of their first feature-length movie, titled "Hero."
The story was conjured in the mind of Mark Brinkman sometime during the early summer of 1988, and together with Derek Lloyd, Kevin Driscoll, and Jonathan Lee, they began the process of assembling a cast for the film.
A large number of people became very enthusiastic about the production, and it culminated with a double showing of the movie at my home in November of 1988.
Now, twenty-five years later, we have decided to revisit this Lloydel Pictures classic with a showing of the film at the Legacy Place Theater in Dedham, MA on Thursday, October 24th at 7:00 PM.
With the help of MakeTime Promotions, we are dedicating the evening to the memory of our great friend, Mark Brinkman, and to his eldest son, Luke Brinkman. All profits from the event will go to a fund for Luke. We feel that this is something that Mark would truly appreciate, and it will bring even more purpose and meaning to the story he envisioned in the summer of '88.
All general admission tickets will be sold for $25 up to a capacity of 146. For those who prefer the VIP treatment, we also have 34 seats available at the Lux Level for $50 each. Again, ALL OF THE PROFITS from the event will be donated to a fund for Luke Brinkman. We are hoping the event will be filled to capacity, so act fast in securing your ticket.

There will also be a "25-Year-Late Wrap Party" after the movie on the Lux Level of the theater. General Admission ticket holders will be able to access the level after the show.
