Hero boons are class level perks unlocked at level 20 and level 50 that are permanent stat increases for that character

they can be a game changer providing extra speed, defense, HP, etc.

leveling every class to level 20 is highly recommended (skip priest as need be) as it makes you that much better for not a ton of investment.
