This video is the last in a series titled The Terror of Trauma that plans to explore the theme of trauma present in various horror films. This video focuses on Ari Aster's debut Hereditary and how it contains various components and ideas we explored throughout this series. This video will reiterate the ideas presented throughout this unit and witnesses how they occur in Hereditary. Friend of the channel Josh Benton then comes in to focus more on the creative decisions and influences on Hereditary to provide a better understanding of what the film accomplishes and how.
