TÖRZS, the biggest instrumental post-rock band from Hungary, has
unveiled their latest piece—a breathtaking rework of the Finnish folk
song “Kuulin äänen.” By weaving atmospheric soundscapes and
powerful dynamics into the traditional melody, TÖRZS creates a
unique experience that bridges the ancient with the contemporary.
Fans of both post-rock and folk traditions are in for an unforgettable
musical journey.
Kilátó (viewpoint, lookout) is a standalone release by TÖRZS, who have already finished working on their upcoming album, set to be released in 2025.
This track is part of an audio-visual collaboration called “Kilátó Állomás” by András Hargitai and Dóra Gulyás. It is the third episode in the AV performance series, featuring analog nature photography and field recordings accompanied by monumental music.
