I heard somewhere that "Here Comes the Sun" is the most-streamed Beatles song on Spotify. I can imagine George Harrison somewhere in heaven smiling at this fact, since I think he often felt like he was second fiddle to Lennon-McCartney in the songwriting department.
The Beatles are my all-time favorite musical group without question. I've recorded ukulele covers of 46 of their songs, and this is my 47th. I've always felt that this song was difficult because of the amount of fingerpicking required and the tricky changes in time signature in the bridge. I finally decided to give this song a shot. I immediately decided that this would be a two-track production as far as ukulele-playing goes... one for strumming and singing and one for fingerpicking. I included other tracks for some keyboard work, harmony, and clapping. A big thank you to my granddaughter for helping out!
