In June 2022, the Supreme Court decided in Kennedy v. Bremerton that a high school football coach was permitted to pray on the fifty-yard line and overruled an earlier Supreme Court case, Lemon v. Kurtzman. This completely changed how the government approached creationism in the classroom. Creationists may indeed be back for another run in the schools.
