It was National Dog Day the other day. Did you do anything fun to celebrate? Since I’ve been on a short break, I got to be on the floor on dog beds with my dogs and just ponder nothing and everything. It was heaven. I feel like for a short moment, I was a dog with them.
The next day went completely to the cows. The neighbor cows. Like a little band of hoodlums, they discovered my hay shed. They have trashed it! And I can’t keep them out. So I follow them around and take videos.
And that’s how everyday should be, right? Yet somehow, I know I get away from it. And even in these crazy Covid times, you would think there would have been more of that dog/cat navel gazing. It’s great to have a little catch up time and neighbor cows. I am very thankful for this break and time with my dogs, cats, horses, and the neighbor’s cows.
I also have lots of fun (and new) stuff in store for the fall. I’ve used this time to also focus ahead on the projects we are passionate about and love. I’m sure you will love what’s in store, too.
