"Diamonds" (en español: "Diamantes") es el segundo sencillo del trompetista Herb Alpert, perteneciente a su álbum de estudio "Keep Your Eye On Me: 1987" (en español: "Mantén Tu Ojo En Mí"). La canción, lanzada el 14 de marzo de 1987, cuenta con las voces principales de Janet Jackson y Lisa Keith. Este sencillo marcó el regreso de Alpert. The song, released on March 14, 1987, features lead vocals by Janet Jackson and Lisa Keith. This single marked Alpert's return. Four tracks on the album "Keep Your Eye On Me" (1987) were produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who fused Alpert's sound with their own Minneapolis Funk.
In the music video, Alpert appears at "Bucky's" nightclub, where the DJ plays his new single. The song is a hit with the crowd, Alpert and his band perform on stage. Meanwhile, Janet returns to the club in a limousine, although Janet herself does not appear in the video, they use a double with her face covered by shadows so that it is not obvious that she is not Janet, and also, the double makes a silhouette in the club.
